Ricardo Calvo y Sandra Messina

RICARDO CALVO "Master", dancer and choreographer, was born in Rosario and was a pioneer in the development of Tango in his city. He began his career in 1984 and since then has made more than 100 international tours, participating in all the famous festivals in Europe, the United States, Russia, and the Middle East. Creator of shows, but also a pedagogue and movement scholar, he developed a revolutionary method of teaching tango, adapted to all types of audiences, from amateurs to professional dancers.

SANDRA MESSINA A dancer with classical and contemporary training, Master Trainer in the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods. She began her career at the age of 18 in Buenos Aires and then continued in France, where she settled, dedicating herself entirely to the study of movement and its teaching. At the same time, she participates in festivals and European tours with various companies and generates innovative projects and creations that combine contemporary dance, theater, tango, and other arts.

In 2005, Ricardo Calvo and Sandra Messina formed a dance couple, a meeting of ideas and knowledge, experiences and projects. Resulting in their unique style that combines the elegance of gesture with technical precision and the emotion of their musical performance. The pedagogy used is one of the most complete and effective, making this couple sought after and recognized by teachers. They share their time between Buenos Aires and Paris and travel around the world to spread their art.
